Iran now tightens the security of all nuclear workers following the murder of a nuclear scientist last week. Security was ordered by the President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

“Anyone who is active in the nuclear field will be placed in a special supervision,” said Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi.

According to ISNA that quotes Rahimi, a special surveillance measures have been ordered 10 months ago against Iran’s nuclear scientists.

“But this time, the Government ordered that anyone who is active in the nuclear field, ranging from low level to the top level, will be in the supervision and got special treatment,” said Rahimi.

This command is issued after Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, was killed in a bomb explosion taped to his car. Deputy Director of the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz nuclear project was killed along with his driver in an incident in Teheran on 11 January.

The attack was the fifth attack which targets scientists Iran in the past two years. Four other scientists Iran, three of which are involved in Iran’s nuclear program, were killed in the bomb attacks. Iran officials called the attacks it is covert operations by Israel and the United States.
